This is a fantastic book and should be in every fly tiers library. The flies are basic, easy to tight, and catch fish. I've been disappointed with other books that seem to be nothing more than a person's attempt to impress with how fancy, complicated, or how many||John Barr is one of the best, most affable, and most innovative fly tiers in the United States today. We are fortunate to finally have his expertise in print. His flies will be used by all fly fishers who seek to improve their success onstream. --John Randolp
